The Ascension St. Mary’s Concussion Clinic is a collaboration of physicians from different specialties certified in concussion care working towards one goal; the safe treatment and recovery of patients sustaining a concussion. The Concussion Clinic combines Ascension St. Mary’s Emergency Department, Field Neurosciences Institute, Neurosurgery, Sports Medicine, Radiology, and Physical Therapy services into one care team to offer the region’s first comprehensive concussion care program.

Saturday Sports Clinic

The Concussion Clinic offers a full range of concussion and emergency care services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services include:

  • Pre-concussion Baseline Assessment

  • 24/7 Emergency Clinic Access

  • 24/7 On-Site Imaging

  • Initial Evaluation

  • Personalized Recovery Plan

  • Concussion Management and Monitoring

  • Return to Baseline Confirmation

  • Return to Play Authorization

  • 5-Step Return to Play Therapy Available

  • Direct access to post-concussion services including: Neuropsychology, Orthopedics, Observation and Sleep Study

How to Access the Concussion Clinic

  1. If an injury occurs Monday thru Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., contact the Concussion clinic at 855-298-9888 for the first available appointment. The Concussion Clinic is located at Ascension St. Mary’s Neurosurgery Office, 4677 Towne Centre Road in Saginaw Township.

  2. For all injuries that require immediate emergent care or injuries occurring outside of normal business hours, please see our certified concussion care specialists located at the Ascension St. Mary’s Towne Centre Emergency Department available 24/7 for direct clinic access. Ascension St. Mary’s Towne Centre Emergency Department is located at 4599 Towne Centre Road (at the corner of Towne Centre and Schust)
