Since 2005, 1st State Bank's RUBY Award has honored our area's brightest professionals under the age of 40 who have made their mark in their professions and are having an impact throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Ascension St. Mary's Field Neurosciences Institute congratulates RUBY (Recognizing the Upward, Bright, and Young) Award Winner Dr. Panchanan Maiti, who is dedicated to producing insightful and innovative research into new therapies for neurodegenerative diseases and other brain disorders.

Dr. Maiti's contributions to the biomedical sciences have been extensive and tremendously impactful. His work is instrumental in developing new treatment approaches for Alzheimer's disease, brain cancer, and other brain disorders.
