Current Studies:
SyNAPSe® : A randomized, doubleblind, placebo-controlled phase 3 study to investigate the efficacy and safety of progesterone in patients with severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). The research team at Field Neurosciences Institute (FNI) is participating in an international clinical research trial for acute closed head injury. Synapse will enroll severe TBI patients with a blunt, closed head injury (non-penetrating) and a GCS between 3 to 8. This study is taking place in over 22 countries and is seeking to enroll 1,180 patients worldwide.
